We remind you that starting from Friday, August 13th 2021, at the border crossing points of EU countries, only digital certificates, documents which contain a QR code which can easily be accessed via this link https://vaccinare-covid.gov.ro/ will be accepted as proof of vaccination, as proof you have recovered from the disease and as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Travelling abroad is possible without the existence of these certificates, but in compliance with the national quarantine rules of each state.
These provisions are stipulated in the EU Regulation no. 953/2021 and are applicable only for the crossing of the state border and not for the activities carried out within the national territory of Romania.
