Starting with March 2010, the Romanian Border Police will launch a new format of its own site, www.politiadefrontiera.ro in order to support the internal and international Community, by facilitating the access to public information and good quality services, through electronic means.
In this new presentation format, with a higher resolution, the web page is easier to access and presents certain novelty elements which are extremely useful for persons interested in obtaining information on the activities and results of the Romanian Border Police.
The Romanian Border Police site, on which interested journalists but also citizens may find information on the activities carried out by our institution in the field of countering cross-border crime, is in a continuous process of development trying to respond to the present exigencies.
As novelty elements which are also necessary for a web page of presentation of a European institution, the portal has new access and information facilities. Thus, through the newsletter and RSS services, the information is received right at the moment when it becomes public.
Further, from now on, the materials of the communication structure are available on Facebook and Youtube, as a result of our institution necessity to adapt to online communication in order to ensure a better visibility.
Accessing the Romanian Border Police portal, interested persons both from the country and abroad, may find information on the structure of our institution, specific duties and legal framework based on which the border policemen carry out their activity, as well as other data regarding the history and specialized personnel within Romanian Border Police.
Here, interested persons may also obtain extremely useful and updated information on the conditions to be fulfilled upon exiting the country by the Romanian citizens wanting to travel, for different purposes, outside the borders. Also, foreign citizens who intend to visit Romania have the possibility to get rapid and exact information on their rights and obligations for entering our country and during the stay period.
