The children who wanted to combine instructive and fun activities with discipline and rigor this summer vacation started their first training in the CAMPAIGN CAMP for children - BORDER POLICE KIDS ACADEMY (Border Police Academy for Children), organized by the Romanian Border Police (RBP).
The camp is attended by twenty students, girls and boys, aged between 10 and 15, from the whole country, including children of Ukrainian refugees, who signed up following the announcement made on the institution's website (www.politiadefrontiera .ro). Among them, three children are of Ukrainian nationality, selected with the support of the International Organization for Migration.
The Border Police Kids Academy takes place at the Drobeta Turnu Severin Border Police Staff Training School, which is located near the Danube, being an area suitable for carrying out multiple activities within the scope of the RBP attributions.
The children participating in the camp will discover the attributions of our institution, its values and the activities that a border policeman carries out in his daily work. At the same time, the daily program, which cannot begin otherwise than with the morning sports, includes practical training tasks and visits to the field, as well as team games with a border specific character that will teach them to help and respect their colleagues.

The activity is organized in partnership with Decathlon, the International Organization for Migration - IOM, the National Union of Police and Contract Personnel - SNPPC, the International Police Association - IPA ROMANIA, and the VICTORIA Sports Club Drobeta Tr. Severin next to STPF Mehedinți, the costs of the camp being provided by the organizers and sponsors.
