On 27.02.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 86,179 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 23,514 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 20% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 10,566 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of 18%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 10,758 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 30%).
On the way out of Romania, 90,691 people completed the formalities, of which 13,785 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 35%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 28.02.2022, at 11.00 h, at national level, approximately 74,701 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 40,340 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
