On 12.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 75,902 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 16,676 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 2,1% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 7,203 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (increasing of 8,7%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 7,789 Ukrainian citizens entered (increasing by 2,6%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 12.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 397,542 Ukrainian citizens entered.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
