Information regarding border traffic on 12.03.2022

On 11.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 71,121 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 16,348 Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by 22,1% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 6,625 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (decreasing of 18%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 7,998 Ukrainian citizens entered (decreasing by 29,2%).

On the way out of Romania, 98,5067 people completed the formalities, of which 21,659 were Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by of 8,4%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 11.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 380,866 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 304,156 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
