Information regarding border traffic on 07.03.2022

On 07.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 80,044 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 29,636 Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by 12,7% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 10,769 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (decreasing of 1,6%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 17,079 Ukrainian citizens entered (decreasing by 19%).

On the way out of Romania, 89,164 people completed the formalities, of which 26,551 were Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by of 0,3%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 07.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 291,081 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 208,863 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
