On 06.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 93,270 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 33,969 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 7,4 % compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 10,953 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (decreasing of 0,9%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 21,121 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 14,9 %).
On the way out of Romania, 105,728 people completed the formalities, of which 26,632 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 14%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 06.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 261,445 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 182,312 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
