Information regarding border traffic on 05.03.2022

On 05.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 91.607 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 31.628 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 12% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 11.055 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (increasing of 16,9%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 18.369 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 8,5%).

On the way out of Romania, 98.138 people completed the formalities, of which 23.180 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 1,6%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 05.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 227.476 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 155.680 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
