On 05.03.2022, within 00.00-18.00 hour interval, at national level, 67,535 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 22,725 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 13% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 8,254 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of 26%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 12.839 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 5%).
On the way out of Romania, 63,003 people completed the formalities, of which 16,703 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 0,6%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 05.03.2022, at 18.00 h, at national level, approximately 218,573 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 149,203 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
