Information regarding border traffic on 03.03.2022

On 03.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 81,323 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 28,563 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 10% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 9,942 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (decreasing of 11%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 16,586 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 32%).

On the way out of Romania, 98,856 people completed the formalities, of which 22,011 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 12%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 03.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 167,613 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 109,687 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
