On 03.03.2022, within 00.00-18.00 hour interval, at national level, 58,231 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 20,462 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 10,8% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 7,590 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of of 8,2%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 11,366 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 32,2%).
On the way out of Romania, 58,059 people completed the formalities, of which 15,931 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 7,4%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 03.03.2022, at 18.00 h, at national level, approximately 159,512 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 103,607 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
