Information regarding border traffic on 02.03.2022

On 02.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 78,318 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 25,924 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 8% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 11,171 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of 6,9%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 12,511 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 8,5%).

On the way out of Romania, 82,946 people completed the formalities, of which 19,575 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 10%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 02.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 139,050 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 87,676 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
