On 02.03.2022, within 00.00-18.00 hour interval, at national level, 56,684 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 16,466 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 14% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 8,274 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of of 13%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 8,595 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 13%).
On the way out of Romania, 54,322 people completed the formalities, of which 14,829 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 21%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 02.03.2022, at 18.00 h, at national level, approximately 131,592 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 82,930 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
