Information regarding border traffic on 01.03.2022

On 01.03.2022, within a 24 hour interval, at national level, 71,364 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 28,682 Ukrainian citizens (increasing by 5,6% compared to the previous day).

On the border with Ukraine, 10,449 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (an increase of of 8%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 11,524 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 1,6%).

On the way out of Romania, 78,584 people completed the formalities, of which 17,783 were Ukrainian citizens (an increase of 12%).

Since the onset of this crisis, until 01.03.2022, at 24.00 h, at national level, approximately 113,000 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 68,100 Ukrainian citizens left.

We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
