On 01.03.2022, within 00.00-18.00 hour interval, at national level, 50,119 people entered Romania through the border points, out of which 16,188 Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by 7,4% compared to the previous day).
On the border with Ukraine, 7,271 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania (a decreasing of of 6,3%), and on the border with the Republic of Moldova, 7,603 Ukrainian citizens entered (an increase of 1,6%).
On the way out of Romania, 78,584 people completed the formalities, of which 17,783 were Ukrainian citizens (decreasing by of 9,6%).
Since the onset of this crisis, until 01.03.2022, at 18.00 h, at national level, approximately 105,452 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania and 62,547 Ukrainian citizens left.
We further reiterate that the border guards are on duty and in constant contact with the institutional partners, having all the necessary measures in place to ensure the security of Romania's borders.
