Four algerians detected at the border

Border Police officers within Timis County detected and apprehended, near the Serbian border, a group of illegal migrants consisting of four Algerian citizens, who intended to reach Schenegen area illegally.

On 03.05.2011 around 05.30, Border Police officers within Lunga Border Police Sector, Timis County, detected near the Serbian border, four males intending to enter Romania illegally.

The four people were asked to legitimate themselves and due to the fact that they had no identity documents and spoke no Romanian language, were led on the premises of the Border Police Sector for thorough checks.

During the investigations, Border Police officers established that they are Algerian migrants, with ages from 25 to 30 who crossed illegally the Romanian- Serbian border in order to reach Schengen area.

Romanian Border Police officers interrupted the aforementioned people's journey, drafting a criminal file under the incrimination of illegally state border crossing, at the end of investigations being taken the imposed legal measures.
