Eight illegal migrants detected at the Romanian border

On 08.01.2011, Romanian Border Police officers within Timioara Border Police Territorial Inspectorate detected eight people trying to illegally cross the Serbian-Romania "green border".
In all the cases, prior acts of criminal investigation in terms of the offense of attempt of state border illegal crossing were drawn by Border Police officers.

Border Police officers within Moravita and Sannicolau Mare Border Police Sectors detected, in the area of responsibility, four groups of illegal migrants consisting of eight people.

The detected people had no identity documents and spoke no Romanian. This determined Border Police officers to lead the people on the premises of Border Police Sectors, in order to sort out the situation. Out of the preliminary investigations, resulted the fact that they are citizens of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, with ages from 22 to 53 years old, who tried to illegally cross the Romanian state border.

Prior acts of criminal investigation in terms of the offense of attempt of state border illegal crossing were drawn by Border Police officers, following, at the end of the investigation to be taken all the imposed legal measures.
