Following the dismissal from the leading positions, upon request, of the chief of County Inspectorate of Border Police Timis and of the Inspectorate deputy chief, legal measures for empowering officers to ensure the Inspectorate management were adopted, as follows:
police chief commissioner Zoran Giurcovici was empowered as chief of County Inspectorate of Border Police Timis; police chief commissioner Marius Dan Popara was empowered deputy chief of County Inspectorate of Border Police Timis.The empowering or appointment of officers to occupy the free positions following the dismissals of other officers in leading positions within CIBP Timis is the responsibility of the county inspectorate chief.
We recall that following the evaluations carried out in the period 12 - 21.03.2011, by the Control Unit within the County Inspectorate of Border Police, six officers in leading positions within C.I.B.P. Timis were dismissed from the office, upon request, and the measure of preliminary investigations for eight officers in leading positions was adopted.
