Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Border Police Agent Training School "AVRAM IANCU" Oradea, in the presence of the deputy general inspector of the Romanian Border Police, Mrs. Police Quaestor Ana Maria JIANU, the festivity of taking the military oath by the 35th series of students admitted after taking the entrance exam was held from the October-December 2022 session.

Present at the event, Mr. Petru BLEDEA, undersecretary of state in the MIA, sent a message to the young students on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and congratulated the future border policemen:

"Following a rigorous selection, you, the 239 future border policemen, have been chosen to pursue a career in one of the most important structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Today, taking the military oath is the culmination of sustained effort, work and study, and for that you can be proud!"

On the occasion of taking the military oath, the deputy general inspector of the Romanian Border Police sent the students a message of support and encouragement, at the same time expressing his trust in this institution regarding the training of future border police officers who are well trained from a professional point of view:

"Be proud of the choice made and believe in your strength! Know that not everyone can be a border guard and not everyone has the power to put the good of others above their own good.

The challenges are many and diverse, some of them even difficult to anticipate. The current conflict in the neighboring country has shown us all that the unpredictable is a reality, that we must be prepared anytime and for anything. In your case, this training begins right from the benches of this renowned educational institution."

The 239 students attending school in Oradea (42 girls and 197 boys), who took the military oath today, were declared admitted after taking the exam held between October and December 2022. The duration of studies for this series of students is one year, the education curriculum being updated to the legislation incident to the field of activity, to the current requirements of society, but also based on the experience accumulated by our institution over time.

The emotion of passing the entrance exam, but also the vibration of taking the military oath give this day a special importance and meaning for the young students.

The educational process to be followed is centered on the formation of the skills from the professional training standard, and to form all these skills they have a body of well-trained, competent teaching staff and they have a material-didactic base that covers them all needs. The same material-didactic base also includes specialized laboratories, the area of tactical simulations, the laboratory of foreign languages and computer science, which are at their disposal during the schooling period. The institution's laboratories are modern, with permanent access to the Internet, and the accommodation and food conditions are comparable to those of specialized schools in the European Union.

On the occasion of taking the military oath, the festivities were also attended by local officials and representatives of public institutions from the municipality of Oradea, commanders and heads of the MIA and MND structures in the garrison, war veterans, heads and directors of the institutions that cooperate with the school in Oradea and, of course, the parents, relatives and friends of the young students.

The ceremony ended with the parade of student formations, in an atmosphere full of emotion, under the gaze of all those present.
