Border Police officers within Negru Voda Border
Police Sector, Constanta County detected four Iranians, who using
falsified Turkish documents and supported by a Romanian and a
Bulgarian, intended to reach Germany illegally.
The migrants stated that they paid 10.000 Euro each for the
falsified documents and for being helped to cross illegally the
border till the final destination.
Another eleven people were detected, within the last 48 hours, by
the Bihor and Botosani Border Police officers while trying to cross
illegally the border.
Based on data and information, Border Police
officers within Negru Voda Border Police Sector, Constanta County
detected a taxi registered in Constanta County, driven by Laurentiu
M., a Romanian citizen, accompanied by 5 people.
Being asked for identity documents, four of them, a man, two women
and a child, presented Turkish passports and identity cards and the
fifth one, a man, presented a Bulgarian identity card.
Suspicion arisen on genuineness of the documents which determined
the Border police officers to lead the people on the premises of
Negru Voda Border Police Sector, in order to sort out the
situation.
After thorough checks it was clear tat the Turkish documents were
falsified and the aforementioned Turkish people are actually
Iranians.
The Iranians stated that they enter Romanian walking, avoiding
Negru Voda Border Crossing Point, guided by a Bulgarian citizen
Daud N., who accompanied them in the taxi. On Romanian territory
they were picked up by the Romanian citizen Laurentiu M., who
intended to lead them till Medgidia.
The migrants stated that their final destination was Germany paying
10.000 Euro per each to the facilitators.
Following the aforementioned, on the name of Iranians, Border
Police officers drawn prior acts of criminal investigation in terms
of the offense of illegal state border crossing, misused identity
and use of false documents; the Bulgarian was drawn prior acts of
criminal investigation in terms of the offense of illegal state
border crossing and trafficking in human beings and the Romanian
drawn prior acts of criminal investigation in terms of the offense
of illegal state border crossing.
At the moment, the investigations are in progress the
aforementioned people going to be presented to the prosecutor in
order to be taken the legal measures.
Border Police officers within Girisu de Cris
Border Police Sector, Bihor County detected and apprehended a group
consisting of five men intending to illegally cross the Hungarian
border. The five men were detected at about 500 meters away of the
border line, walking towards Hungary.
The men had no identity documents and spoke no Romanian; based on
this they were leaded on the premises of the Border Police Sector
where it was established the fact that four of theme are Tunisians
and one is Libyan with ages from 20 to 45. The illegal migrants
reached Cheresig via a taxi and intended to illegally cross the
Romanian - Hungarian border.
Also the Border police officers within Salonta Border Police Sector
apprehended on 15th of May two Tunisians with ages from 27 to 29,
trying to illegally exit our country, using the "green border".
Following the investigations was established the fact that
they’ve reached Salonta via a train and than walked towards
the border intending to illegally cross the Hungarian border on
their way to Austria.
Regarding the seven men were drawn prior acts of criminal
investigation in terms of the offense of attempt of state border
illegal crossing, the investigations being in process for the
establishment of the whole criminal activity.
On 13.05.2011, Border Police officers within
Radauti Prut Border Police Sector, Botosani Border Police County
Inspectorate, detected near the border, by using the night vision
equipment, four people walking towards Paltinis.
Border Police officers tried to apprehend the four men, who ignored
the voice signals which determined the officers to use the weapon
and ammunition, shooting in vertical plan.
The aforementioned people were apprehended at about 1.000 m. away
of the line border; they were leaded on the premises of Radauti
Prut Border Police Sector in order to establish the identity of the
people involved and to sort out the situation.
The investigations are in process for the establishment of the
whole criminal activity, at the end being taken the imposed legal
measures.
