On 13.09.2022, through the border crossing points at the level of the entire country, approximately 159,000 persons, Romanian and foreign citizens, with over 43,900 means of transport, went through the control formalities (both on the way in and on the way out of the country).
On the way to Romania, there were 73,865 people, of which 9,422 were Ukrainian citizens (down to 2,4% from the previous day). Thus, starting with 10.02.2022 (pre-conflict period), until 13.09.2022, at 24.00, at national level, 2,295,777 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania.
Furthermore, the border control at the entrance to Romania through the border crossing points is carried out efficiently, in accordance with the provisions of the national and community legislation, the Border Police working at the maximum capacity allowed by the infrastructure of the crossing points.

Regarding the specific activities, in the areas of competence - the crossing points and the "green border" - the border guards found:
- 49 illegal acts (28 crimes and 21 contraventions) committed by both Romanian and foreign citizens;
- undeclared goods (which were to be introduced illegally in the country were discovered, independently or in collaboration with other institutions,), which exceeded the customs ceiling allowed or suspected to be counterfeit, in a total value of approximately 69,500 lei;
- the value of the applied contravention fines amounts to over 7,710 lei;
- 30 foreign citizens were not allowed to enter the country, who did not meet the conditions provided by law, and also 28 Romanian citizens were not allowed to leave for various legal reasons.
The Border Police acts in an integrated system with the other institutions with attributions in the field, in order to achieve an operative exchange of data and information for the efficient management of the cases.
