It functions as a part of the Border Police Sector Oltenita, under the conditions of international with harbour profile, assuring the respecting of the provisions of the treaties and agreements, the conventions and the border protocols, signed with Bulgarian Republic and the international ones which Romania takes part in, concerning the transit of people and merchandise across the border with Bulgaria.
