Based on the studies carried out by the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) regarding the resistance structure of the bridge over the Tisa river, that connects Romania to Ukraine, it was concluded that repairs are still needed for this construction.
Hence, CNAIR together with the executing company announced restrictions, for another period of 30 days, regarding road traffic through the Sighetu Marmației Border Crossing Point, starting on 15.10.2024, between 10.00-15.00, from Monday to Friday.
Regarding pedestrian traffic, it will not be affected.
