At the Hungarian borders, 11 border crossing points are operational: 8 for international transport of passengers, cars and trucks and 3 for cross-border workers, so we recommend to transit all points open to international traffic, in order to avoid the occurrence of overloads of only some of them.
Traffic values recorded in the last 24 hours are increasing, approaching those recorded during the summer season, but border formalities are complex and require a longer processing time, because, in addition to the specific control at the entrance in the country, passengers fill out a declaration on their own responsibility, and the representatives of the Public Health Directorate carry out the epidemiological triage.
